The President’s Message

Pamela L. Lee, President
Welcome to the virtual home of the nationally-acclaimed, award-winning, Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter (SM-LAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. SM-LAC is comprised of more than 500 dedicated, civic-minded, college-educated women, who:

  • Serve the community
  • Mentor our youth
  • Lead local programs and initiatives
  • Advocate for important issues
  • Collaborate with like-minded organizations

Our chapter programs coincide with the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness and Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Political Awareness and Involvement

We are a sisterhood whose bond is made stronger through community service. Some of our signature programs include an annual domestic violence vigil, a “Let’s Talk Teal” ovarian cancer awareness tea, a youth political engagement series, and financial literacy workshops. In addition, we continue to deliver impactful events via our Social Action, Arts and Letters, and Debutante committees.

Known affectionately as the “Jewel of the Mountain,” our goal is to make positive contributions that enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Stone Mountain, Lithonia, Lilburn, Loganville, Centerville, Snellville, Rockdale and southeast DeKalb counties.

To any Deltas seeking a chapter home, I would like to personally extend a warm invitation to our chapter meetings, community projects and sisterhood events. SM-LAC welcomes you with open arms!

This is certainly an exciting time for the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter as we continue to make a difference in the communities we serve by fulfilling our mission to Serve, Mentor, Lead, Advocate and Collaborate!

In Service and Sisterhood,
Pamela L. Lee
Stone Mountain – Lithonia Alumnae Chapter
