With that, we invite you to take your time visiting with us and we look forward to meeting you at some of our upcoming events!           The Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter was awarded the prestigious 2006  Chapter Of The Year Award, and the distinguished Legacy of Achievement Award in Educational Development during the 2006 Southern Region Sisterhood Luncheon at the 48th National Convention of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.  Approximately 2,000 sorors from chapters within the dynamic  Southern Region were on hand to  witness the exciting event! Members of the Executive Committee, Executive Board, and chapter cheered when SM-LAC's name was announced.  ____________________________                                          Sisterhood Advance August 2008 ____________________________ What a WONDERFUL DAY to be a DELTA and a MEMBER of SM-LAC!      Red Roses of Praise and Violets of Admiration are extended to            everyone who worked to ensure another SM-LAC success!           Please join me in THANKING the 2008-2009 SM-LAC Minerva Circle for its loyalty, dedication and hard work!  And, “Thanks” to ALL of you who volunteered, served on MIT committees, provided words of encouragement, prayers and support throughout the MIT process.  Each of you will be recognized formally during our May Grand Celebration.
