5th Annual Deltas After Dark (DAD) - October 27, 2007

"Deltas After Dark...Party Like a Rockstar" is a sophisticated upscale chic event where more than three hundred guests will enjoy an evening of live music, spoken word, a silent auction, a delectable cuisine, and the distinction of downtown Atlanta elegance.  This event will be held at The Atlanta National Design Center located in Atlanta on Joseph Lowery Boulevard.  The cost is $25 per person in advance and $30 the day of the event.  All proceeds raised will be used to fund our community-based Five-Point Program Thrust.

 BRAZIL 2007 - JUNE 9-17, 2007

 International Awareness and Involvement committee invites all sorors, family and friends to attend the exciting adventure, as the committee takes the “Jewel of the Mountain” to new international heights in Rio de Janeiro and Bahia, Brazil! Go ahead and make plans now to join us as we embark on an opportunity to revel in the beauty, culture and history of Brazil. In keeping with the directives of our Founders, we will participate in a significant community service effort for the local Brazilian community. Come along and embrace the excitement; join the fun and continued work for Delta in South America.

10th Anniversary Celebration - March 2, 2007

If you have not purchased your ticket (s), please do so by emailing lkhalif@yahoo.com or lovediagne@msn.com today.

1. Suggested arrival time for Rededication: 6:00 PM

* Ceremony must begin promptly at 6:30PM. 
   Location for Rededication: The "White Tent" at the
   Everegreen Conference Center. Flyer/Directions.      

*Remember, Rededication is a closed, "Deltas only" event...
  Color is Black-No pants!

 

Your guest can view the exhibits and enjoy the hor'duvers in the reception area until we are finished (approximately 7:15PM). Sorors from XI Alpha (Georgia Tech) and Sigma Chapter (Clark Atlanta) will serve as our hostesses for the evening.

2. Per the 10th Anniversary committee's request, seating for the dinner/dance is open so that you may sit with sorors and other guests as you please.  Doors will open for the banquet at 7:45 PM.

3. Your meal selection or "Entree" cards will be distributed at the registration table by our hostesses.  You will be asked to give them to the waiter. Please do not request a change of your meal selection the night of the event.  However, if you have not informed us of your meal selection, please do so via email to lkhalif@yahoo.com or lovediagne@msn.com immediately.

Science and Everyday Experiences (SEE) 2006

SEE's 2006 Poster/Essay CONTEST is for students and "ALL" Delta Academy and GEMS girls! The Theme is "Imagination 2020: Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Technology into Your Future Career.  There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each grade.  The Grade Winners will compete for the national prizes, national 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 
        
However, There Is A $1000 1st Place Prize at the national level!

Every student that submits a complete application and poster or essay will receive a prize while supplies last!  Deadline for all entries is November 1, 2006.  For more information send email to deltasee@deltafoundation.net or visit the www.deltasee.org.
